why the tour operaters dont like to start tour from punjab

hi everyone i m wondering in punjab i know there is only one main interesting city that is amritsar. so why the tour operater dont like to organize tour from over there as they can start from chandigarh where it has asia's biggest rose garden n it has also world famous rock garden. suknna lake is also very nice for boating n nice view of himalayas n then u can goto amritsar golden temple n have a look of flag down ceremony at indo pak border n then on the way u can watch the harike bird santuary which now become ramsar sight. n then bathinda wheer u can c nice fort n then bikaner rajasthan.
so what u think let me know. i m sorry my english is not so good

Amritsar has nothing to offer to a visitor. I am sorry but this is most neglected city in PUNJAB. Leave alone GOLDEN TEMPLE which is major tourist attraction-roads and crowds + trafiic jams are just a scene which no one wants to face when they are traveling.

You are talking about CHANDIGARH and CHANDIGARH is way different than PUNJAB and most important factor is that it is not in control of PUNJAB.
Let it come to PUNJAB and you will see...

PUNJAB has nothing to offer to a tourist...I am sorry, I have seen power cuts in winters here.Highways are fine but city roads are in very poor conditions. JALANDHAR and LUDHIANA are just famous for trafiic jams.

What you can expect from a decent corrupt govt. and people who are badly devided in casts and color of turbans. Every year-elections come and someone again takes them for ride.
