January 24 weather in Amritsar

We are planning to take afternoon train from Delhi to Amritsar on 24 january 2010. We will then take overnight train on 26 january to Haridwar.
Please tell us what is the weather at that time,temperature etc.and particularly Outside Golden Temple by Sarovar!

January to mid February can be cold and damp. Also can get a lot of dense fog.

You can change it to Centigrade at the top right. It's quite chilly, especially at night.
