how is hotel aroma classic in Chandigarh?
Hi all,
I have made a tentative booking in hotel Aroma Classic in Chandigrah for a couple of nights on way to Kasauli and Shimla. How is the hotel if anyone has any idea ? w we are 6 adults and 3 kids, we just want to be close to sector 17, budget is around 2000. Rs. I am an India by the way in case it matters. |

If Aroma and Aroma classic are one and the same thing then i would recommend it. Have had the opportunity to stay there multiple times while in Chandigrah and was never given a reason for complaining as such. Last stay there was March 2007.

Why stay in Chandigarh ? head straight over to Kasauli. Its only an hour or so away (bit longer by bus) and a much better place to be than chandigarh.

Shere's got a good point there....there's no point breaking up the journey in Chandigarh if Kasauli is a place u will be staying at in ur trip.

One tip for Kasauli, dont bother with the Dhaba at Dharampur. The place especailly the first Dhaba (Gianis) is so over-rated. The food is nothing special. Head to Kasauli and Ross Common and sample their cooking for real tasty food.
The Dhaba at the bus stop in Kasauli is also one to avoid. Very poor food. The dal last time I went there tasted as if it was 2 weeks old. |
