Hotel In Amritsar
Hi,
Excuse my bad English, I am Italian On September I'll go with my husband to Amritsar. We'll stay 15 days in Ladakh before, so... could be fantastic to stay in a very good hotel! Can you help me? Which can you suggest me? Is better to reserve directly to hotel or by Agency? Thanks Renza Italy Last edited by machadinha : Aug 21st, 2007 at 20:29. Reason: moved to create own thread |

We recommend the CJ International for its location. Try to reserve a suite on the top floor if you are able. It is not a five star hotel by any means, but the location is ideal and the suites are quite nice.
We wrote more about it in this thread which might be of interest to you: Amritsar accom distaff half of hfot2 Please, do not apologize for you English; would that my Italian [or any other language for that matter] were as good as your English which, by the way, is fine! |

Last December I've stayed in CJ International too. Is a very good option in Amritsar really well situated, thought not a five star hotel.

I thought more about your request overnight and have the following suggestions- For the CJ International I really recommend the top floor suites. You should reserve these specifically in whatever way is easiest for you. I am sending you a private message with information on a travel company we often use in Delhi - they have taken many Italians on tour and the managing director speaks Italian fluently. distaff half of hfot2 |

If they have an email address and a web page there is no reason at all to do it through an agency. I suggest to call them the day before just to remember the reservation (is a good idea in any hotel in India to call the day before your arrival)
