Guest House Punjab
I stayed at a house in Mahilpur, Dist Hoshiarpur, Punjab.
The location was actually nearer to Himachal than Amritsar. The guy who ran the house was really helpfull arranged everything, taxis, laundry, cook even advised me which buses to catch. When I visited he was just renting the odd room to visitors, I think his relation abroad owned the house and they have actually turned it into a guest house but only with 3-4 rooms available.
