chandigarh to amritsar ???

can any one tell is this any volvo bus sercvice or any train service r there to go from cahndigarh to amritsar ?

There are AC Volvo buses from Chandigarh to Amritsar which reach in about five hours and they are pretty cheap at around Rs225. There are private as well as state transport buses available twice everyday. Some buses are starting from Chandigarh but others may originate in Delhi and hence may not have many seats available. No direct train to Amritsar from Chandigarh. From Ambala there are plenty of trains:
2497 SHANE PUNJAB DEP:AMBALA 10.20 ARRV: AMRITSAR 14.15
2715 SACHKHAND EXP DEP:AMBALA 15.45 ARRV: AMRITSAR 20.15
2903 GOLDENTEMPLE MAIL DEP:AMBALA 01.05 ARRV: AMRITSAR 05.25
2925 PASCHIM EXPRESS DEP:AMBALA 14.45 ARRV: AMRITSAR 19.15
