Chandigarh

My tour operator has given me two choices for hotels. I'll be going through Chandigarh on the route of Manali to Delhi.
Please advice me which hotel is better to stay.
1) Hotel SunPark
2) Hotel Marc Royal

Both of these are not in Chandigarh, they are at Zirakpur which is around 8 KMs from Chandigarh. Amongst these two Marc Royal is better.

Actually Chandigarh is not the main place of our tour. We will be going Chandigarh for just night stay during Manali-Delhi route. And Chandigarh's sightseen places are not included. I have few hours to visit either Chandigarh's places or Panchkula's places.
For which should I go?

Can you suggest me a good hotel in Chandigarh under Rs2500/day?

Panchkula and Chandigarh are twin cities....

You may visit Rock Garden and Sukhna lake in Chandigarh....There is nothing in Panchkula except a temple of Mansa Devi.

Hotel Sunbeam is a good choice in this price range.
