Chandigarh Non-oily Food

Our family is going to be visiting Chandigarh soon and we need a resturent/eatry that serves non-oily food.
Ghee/butter is fine but we prefer food that are not cooked with vegetable oils due to health reasons.

In Ahmedabad you can get dosas prepared in butter. Does this option exist in Chandigarh?

You should have no problem finding vegeterian dhabas that only use ghee. Prathas are a good option, available everywhere and delicious.

Please Mr. Mehra, do not set out to look for Dosa in Chandigarh of all places.

Ask them to make the Paranthas in butter or Desi Ghee.

My wife has been told to avoid Punjabi food by her doctor.
Dosas are better option as they contain less oil.

So a random dhaba-- the paranthas can be ordered in ghee?.
What do they normally use?. Perhaps vanaspati?.
For us even vanaspati is better than oil.

Like Shanks mentioned , get the Parathas made that way.

There will be enough options for South Indian available ,and more than enough for dal , chawal kind of food.

Why not just have tandoori paratha, you can have them dry without oil or butter.
