Bus from Amritsar - Attari?

My guidebook says there are frequent minibuses from Amritsar to Attari. Where can I get one from? Do they leave from the main bus-stand? Any idea how regular they are and whether there is likely to be space for my luggage (big backpack)? Thanks!! :-)

there must be regular bus service from amritsar to attari.enquire at the bus terminal.there`s now a direct coach from amritsar to lahore(if that`s your destination!) from international bus terminal in amritsar.the fare is ridiculously high about rs.1000 for the 34 miles drive!

The bus from Amritsar to Lahore is rather odd in that you have to get security clearance from some Ministry in Delhi to board it.

Another example of bureaucracy gone mad.
