Amritsar Sightseeing

Hi

I have heard that in addition to the Harimandir Sahib and Jallianwallah Bagh - there is also the Mata Cave Temple, Ranjit Singh's Museum and the Durgiana Temple to see in Amritsar.

Quick question - is it possible to view the Mata Temple, Durgiana Temple and the Museum in one afternoon?

Also are they worth a visit or should I spend more time at the Golden Temple ?

thanks

Durgiana Temple is not far away from Golden Temple. In fact it's sort of replica of Golden Temple....

You can watch the Border ceremony at Wagah at sunset.

If you are at Golden Temple at early morning or late night, you can see palki Ceremony where Guru Granth sahab is carried from Akal Takht to Harmadir Sahab in morning and vice versa in teh evening.

The Maharaja Rhunjeet Singh museum is in the Ram Bagh which the locals also refer to as Company Bagh. Should not take you more than an hour to see everything there. The Gobingarh fort in amritsar may also now be open for tourists.
