Visiting Pune
Hi,
I'm looking to visit Pune for about 3 nights early April. Ideally I'd like to tavel by train or even coach, I'll be travelling from Goa and after my visit will be heading back down to Goa. Can anyone give me some tips on places to stay and on sights/markets to visit. In my accomodation I don't need it to be too fancy. Just a room with a bed, toilet and a shower as well as being fairly central to things. Places to eat, although generally I go with the crowd rule.. Thank you in advance for your responses... ![]() |

Ritchie, you can visit several historical place in Pune.
Find some details in link below. http://www.maharashtratourism.gov.in...tractions.html I guess it would be better for you to stay in central area. But, as far as I know, most tourists prefer to stay in koregaon park area. I hope this helps you little bit ![]() |

You could stay at Hotel Ashish on F.C road...the room will come for around Rs.1,000/- for one night.
