Pune Darshan by Bus

The Pune Municipal Transport runs 2 buses daily that goes to all the attractions in Pune. Cost is Rs 117/- and time taken is a total of 8 hrs.

Has anyone been on this bus tour? If so, how is it?

Thanks.

Have you been there yet?

If you have been on that tour bus, please, do tell about your experiences as we are a family of 4 who are going to Pune in December 2008.

Thanks!

I had to postpone my trip due to the monsoon rains, but hope to do it very soon. Your plan to do it in December sounds good because the weather is the best in Pune then.

Not at all recommended!!! Instead take an auto and spend time at whichever place you want to at your own leisure though it could be a bit expensive.
I think they cover 2 ambedkar's museums(both are not worth) while parvati is skipped- which should be done early in the morning.

There are'nt any axis in pune.but you can still hire private vehicles. Still autos are the best and quickest option-you can get them anywhere. They charge 8-10 rs per km.
