lavasa is like a gated community, there are no other stay options once you leave pune (there are some eatery options, dhaba style, along the way). It is amidst some hills and has an lake (artificial). Most of the time, the place will be empty, except for the weekends, when there will be plenty of people coming in to spend the day.

while the drive to that place is impressive, the place itself is not so much. You have many restaurants, and coffee shops, so spending money is not a problem. Could be a second home, usable only on the weekends, or once you tire of the city life.

Have your own transport to get in and get out. Hope there is less construction when you visit. Last time i was there, i saw two helipads, and neither of them was in regular use. Lots of construction was in progress.

the hotel itself, i have no idea. i was a day tourist, went there early in the morning, and left by late afternoon.

My favorite niece has stayed there with her daughters and from the pics it seems rather nice with a swimming pool, etc. My spouse is seized with the idea If I had my druthers I would do a short trip to Aurangabad as Golghar would probably guess..
