Hotel (near) Prabhat Road

HI,

can anyone please suggest a good and reasonably priced hotel (or guest house) on or near Prabhat Road? It will only be for one night. Doesn't have to be fancy or anything, just clean and affordable (+/- INR 1500)...

Hotel Raviraj, on Bhandarkar Institute Road will fall in your budget category. It's near to Prabhat Road. You may contact them at hotelraviraj @ vsnl.com.

Thanks delhiwala, this looks like it is a good option. Have you or anyone else you know stayed there before? I am just asking because I made a big mistake last time when I went to Bangalore. I went online and checked some hotels and made a decision based on pictures... Big mistake!!! So this time I thought it is better to go by what others have experienced and that is why I posted the thread.

hotel pleasant near british library..call them uo and ask for the price. i guess it's around 1500-2000.

Thanks for all your replies.

We went to Pune and decided to stay at Hotel Ketan. http://www.hotelketan.com/

Its driveway can be entered from Fergusson College Road, but its away from the street, so no noise from the traffic.
The room was impeccable and the staff was friendly.
Paid INR 1200 per night incl. breakfast.

Many restaurants and coffee shops within a very short walking distance.

I can only recommend it.
