Buying meat in Pune
Anybody knows any good shops to buy meat in Pune? I am especially interested in ORGANIC meat, as well as fish from areas with little pollution. Anyone have some advice?

You mean organic, as in natural, without pesticides, pain, etc in a city. Easier to save yourself the hassle and go veggie, Explore the vast variety of Indian veg based dishes - which you'll never taste in Norway. You might have kicked off more than you can chew now...

In camp area you could try Shivaji Market. Pune Station Area there is a good outlet on Dhole Patil Road. Also Some Reliance Fresh Outlets sell meat/fish.

Local Mutton shops!
If you want only branded meat or want to buy only from reputed shop then as somebody has said you can try supermarkets like Reliance fresh. But if you want fresh mutton You can also visit any mutton shop! Goto any 'Indian' kind of market area. Inquire for 'mutton dukaan(shop)'.Normally Lambs/Goats/sheeps are cut freshly in these shops & hanged in-front of shop. you can ask for any part u want. Rates may be 200-250 Rs per Kg. I hope that this can be considered Organic because these sheep grow in natural environments without much exposure to chemicals!
