Advice about Pune & Goa !

Flying first time Pune (from Delhi) on 26 July 2009 by Kingfisher airlines !
Well guys I'm going for some university work over there and will stay few days in Pune and then will head for either Goa or Mumbai !

-:
1. Good place to stay (Budget in between 1000 INR -2000 INR /Per Day) near Wanowrie
2. What's the best way to go Goa from Pune or Shoud I reach Mumbai first and then head to Goa (too confused to think..)and suppose i get from Pune to Goa ,How long does it take from Pune to Goa !
3.I will visit Iyengar Yoga for some Information ..
4.What intresting things to do/roaming around in Pune ?
5.good place to eat in Pune (This is what I cant compromise at all)

1 Hotel Padma Vilas

2 There is a direct train 2780 from Pune to Goa running on all days leaving Pune at 16:30 and arriving Goa at 05:40. Apart from this there are MSRTC buses also going to Goa.

4 You can see Parvati, Aga Khan Museum,

5 Frangipani Off Senapati Bapat Road, Kobe Sizzlers on Law College Road, Blue Nile at Camp, Baghban at MG Road
