1 Night 2 days trip from Pune

Hi,

A group of friends and families are planning for a 1 night 2 day trip. We are all in Pune and are looking for a weekend gateway.

We are 30-40 in number with no childrens. Any place which can surprise us and should be secure. What are the options available?

30 to 40 is a large number. What kind of an accomodation are you looking for? Dormitories might be tough to find and smaller town hotels might not have enough rooms to fit all of you in one place.
Plus what is the age group? Is it more of an adventure or just a lazy luxurious trip or some spending of bucks at markets - likes of mahabaleshwar/lonavla.

Group have got people in the age group of 20 to 40. Budget is not a constraint and a 5 star will be fine as well. We are looking for a trip where we all can have fun with group activities and some sigh seeing. Group activity is a must.

1 night and 2 days from Pune which does not involve too much travel might be a Star hotel or some luxurios bunglows on Mahabaleshwar Panchgani route.

Or a star hotel in alibaug maybe.

What can be another fun activity is likes of adventure plus or I forgot the name of the adventure resort in Tamhini ghat. Where there is river rafting and types of activities.

Have you considered Durshet Forest Lodge?

Finally decided for Dandeli. It was fun being there though Wild Life safari was a little disappointment since could not see many animal but overall it was fun.
