hallo arun, i do not know what stage you have arrived at as regards buying a place in kumaon...im in the armed forces and my folks too reside at noida...so i can understand what you meant. do have a look at my contribution in the thread 'what to buy in the hills for 5 lacs' and get back to me if it makes sense. btw i really admire your descision to take this call...only the finest can do it. cheers
