Renting Beach Property Kerala

Hi there.

My fiance and I are looking to rent in a month's time.

I gather from reading threads that for two brits buying is out of the questions but long term rental seems to be a viable option.

Ideally we would like to rent a bungalow near the beach, not in Goa, somewhere fairly quiet but having researched I know this will have to take tourists into account.

Is there such a place?

And whats the best way of finding a landlord?

Some help or advice would be so kindly received.

Thanks Bruce, but we have spent a long time typing in various varieties of 'kerala property rentals' so we posted on here in the hope of someone's personal experience/advice.

Hai coupled!! just got down to india few weeks back and its very easy to find nice beach front locations in cochin, (cherai) im lucky to find a nice independent villa (kitchen facilties)right on chearai beach for rent. there r couple of more of them to be rented. grt place and grt sunsets from here.
