Land Price in and around Ooty

Hi,
I need help in finding out price of land in Ooty or sarrounding area I have budget of 5 lacks,
I love hill stations and was thinking if it is possible to buy some land and latter construct a small house and do some farming it may sound odd but i need sugations from IM friends weather it will be possible please advise

Hi Baseer,

I am also on the look out for land in and around Ooty. I posted a free ad on 99acres.com and got some responses a few days ago. May be you should also try it out. However in 99 Acres, there are both options. Free Classifieds and Upgradtion to Premium Classifieds by way of payment. You may decide which one to go for.

The responses i got so far is. For a land of about 1500 Sqft. they quoted about 2,25,000 INR. So for about 4.5 lakhs you woudl get a 3000 Sqft land,which is really good. The said site was somewhere nearer to Lawrence School about 12 Kms away from Ooty.
