Land in Jaipur
Folks, I was wondering if anyone knows much about the Vatika Infotech City in Jaipur?
It is located on Ajmer Road, about 18kms from the centre of town. Is it a good idea to invest in residential plot in this project? Vatika have another project by the name of Vatika City in Gurgaon, so they have some sort of name in the market. But would you invest in their Jaipur project? This is purely from an investment perspective, never to live there. Any inputs, much appreciated. Last edited by LilBoy BigTown : May 15th, 2009 at 18:30. Reason: typo |

Decent developers, but their gurgaon project has decent saleability but not too great quality of construction (lots of "ready to move in" houses in vatika city had plaster issues owing to water seepage)
the place commanded a good premium earlier but now its come down to earth. Can't say about jaipur

I beg to differ. They are a decent name down here in Delhi, but while my architect friends (in decent companies) have good things to say for them - I found the amount of seepage unacceptable.
Of course, they are no DLF. And land is a local market - you must consider local demand supply. esp for you to make a profit - consider the demand for places twice its rate at that location. Most likely you wouldn't come up with a very flattering number. Just my surmise. |

Seepage would perhaps be a problem if you buy a ready to move in property.
Ajmer Road seems to be the hub for a lot of new developments in Jaipur, so I thought an investment would make sense. Any idea on potential real estate hot spots in Jaipur? |
