Buying a Property In India - Some Costs Involved
A friend of mine is interested in Chembur area (Mumbai) flats and
I put up this note as a query to the agent ..... ...thought it might help others thinking about buying a place in Mumbai area: My friend Manu would appreciate some good information on 2 / 3 BHK properties in the new Raheja construction in Chembur (Acropolis, I think). Please advise him re sq ft rate but also include a breakdown of carpet area, built up area etc. And, information to include your agent's fees rate, if any. Or do agents get the commission from Raheja? Or from both? Raheja and the client? Also include information about other costs - parking space costs, one time club facilities fees, monthly maintenance fees, whether the property has piped gas or cylinder, also some properties now include modular kitchen units (do Raheja include this?). Please give him a rough idea of the Stamp Duty / Registration costs, as well.
