Per Square Yard is another one.
But its hard to say what's good. 99acres and persquareyard are the two I was using quite a bit a year or so back. (Deleted your other post on this in classifieds: more appropriate to this forum) |

www.indiaproperties.com and www.99acres.com are decent all India sites.
Yes, it is quite common to ask for (sometimes upto 25%) more on online sites. The best bet is still to identify an area within a city where one wants to buy and do some telephone/legwork

The best site for india has to be 99acres. while magic bricks , indiaproperty etc are also big names, the extensiveness of the listings on 99 acres is way ahead of the others.

Well 99acres & magic bricks are definitely a good choice. But still I love to search apartments based on th company names like Ambuja Realty.
In kolkata, when one of my uncle required a apartment, I saw Upohar, Ambuja Realty advertisement. There apartments were simply great. The website provided all information required along with application form. 99acres or such website are only good when you don't have any idea about the place or any such real estate developers.

cyberbaba,
If you are on the lookout for a plot of land, and that too not the regular run-of-the-mill ones, check out the following boutique site that displays some available properties in Kerala.:- http://ecokeralam.com/ Note: The site is owned and managed by a friend of mine.
