...for weekly rent or monthly? I'm trying to get an idea of prices looking at indiaproperties.com etc but, currently clueless, its not very clear to me yet

Property portals (look up 99acres and magicbricks.com too) will normally list long term lease-able properties. Rents mentioned will be either monthly or annual, usually monthly.

Weekly rentals are not usually posted there.

All of them (most?) have an option of renting in some drop down menu.

Many people ask for too much on these sites. Local newspapers are better options.

Your problem is using a Class B site to begin with , the best ones are 99acres.com and magicbricks.com
