I really want to get the t-shirt situation rolling.Can admins has a meeting and think about the store front. Seems that this is just hanging in there with not solution or only a few interested. Maybe a stick on the front page at the top asking folks if the support a storefront approach.

I personally like the site logo the way it is. But if folks want change, lets roll with and get back to the real purpose of IM posting info about India and personal info. This just seems like it is going nowhere or at least for the last 3-4 months

Just my humble opinion that we move forward on this matter. I will be willing to pay the small cost of running the store for 3 months. Which I believe is $8.99 USD for a premium store.

I don't want to take on running the store but would like to help set it up, if wanted

I just want a shirt that others are wearing, with URL included(of course)

Could just my own printed by rather be part of a group effort.

And then there is the picture or photo issue.

I've been a silent member for a while now. I have never been to India but I am dying to go. I know everything about this t-shirt contest and let me tell you what I think as an outsider (and we can add another count to the 15,000 gurus).

"The Head Wobblers" -- I have no idea what this means

"15,000 gurus can't be wrong" -- I see the potential but you need a lot of thinking time to figure this one out. This is my fav. and I agree with nadreg as putting the 16,000 number as a counter (optimism)

"Indiamike.com. Isn't it?" -- I feel this is narcisistic

"Where Travel-Wallahs Meet" -- I have no idea what Wallahs means

"More than just a packing list" -- I can also see the potential for this one. But I will stick with the gurus.

"Your passage to India" -- I agree with bijapuri, this is too lame.

"Indiamike - One pen, thousands of stories" -- I like this but I would prefer site instead of pen.

"India - Prepartion, Support, & Withdrawal Forum" -- This sound so disposable, I don't think you don't want to advertise that, you should advertise the community part of it

"We are like this only! " -- This is foreing language to me

"All the hell, none of the smell" -- I like this one too, it presents all the history behind the forums...but not welcoming

When I started off the slogan thread, I didn't think it was going to attract a lot of attention. I thought I'd get a few suggestions, we'd pick the best one, and I'd print some tshirt.... Little did I know!!

I will take a look at cafepress this weekend and get it rolling if it turs out to be suitable. Don't worry about the money, I will pay for it if I decide to open a store with them.

I think the best bet is to setup something where people can pick their own slogans and have the tshirt shipped to them directly. The slogans the population likes are too varied.

I'll take a look at all this this weekend and get back to you guys shortly after that. At this point, printing in bulk and storing in my apartment isn't an option.
