Naaaaa - Your Passage to India - is concise and to the point!
- couple it with a picture of the Gateway to India with the splash page graphic air-brushed in the arch where the portal is.

None of these really captures it based on the comments here. Anybody want to hire Janice Jackson for a performance.?

I have to agree with PeakXV here. Being a first time visitor to India I was searching all over the web for info and advice. Had IndiaMike not been suggested to me I probably would not have looked at it since the name did not suggest to me that it would informational. While I like "15,000 gurus...", I think that it is not descriptive enough. Sounds like a spiritual kinda thing to the uninformed. While "Your passage..." may conjure images of travel agencies, at least it does bring travel to mind. And I still don't know what a "wallah" is. Just my two cents.

Namaste,
Is it possible the "winning slogan" also be in Hindi? Also who gets the money for the t-shirts? Are there going to be multiple styles, golf shirt (collar) t-shirt, Long sleeve, Hoodie sweatshirt, etc. Beem out of touch for a week is there a picture slected? I think that poll should be kept open until at least 10% of registered IM's vote, Is there an Indian charity that will benfit ftom the sale, concerned that it is a money making deal for someone, can some tell me been happing, of course I will read all the old posts, but would like someone, (nick h) to explain what they thing is happening Thanks in advance, gregor

I believe leftover (If any) will be used for site maintenance. I believe most of the admin types spend their own time and money for hobby and public good.

"We are like that only" was the working title of "Monsoon Wedding." It appears in the credits, and Mira Nair talks about it in the director's commentary on the DVD.
