Exacto mundo. What are the erupoenas best at? What are the swedes best at? (Suecide?) What are the africans best at? The americans?

Its not hard for me to find cruel answers to all of these, but I will hold my tounge. Since race "jokes" arent allways popular with everyone.

Its really a bit like starting a poll saying "what does your girlfriend do best?"

Allow me my daily whinge! That's all the rights I ask for.

& I'm sick & tired of people, who are sick & tired of people whingeing about government /political corruption.

I agree! And I am sick and tired of people say over and over again that India is twenty years behind China..Ok we got your point already. No need to enunciate the same thing in every post. Indians know their weaknesses, let them whine a bit, if it bothers you that much..dont read it.

I agree with Mandasaur, this post is starting to get out of hand. No more from me thats for sure. Thanks and ciao!

P.S. I really dont think this is what TerryM meant by starting this thread. My answer: throwing a party! lol..lets keep it light people.

My Answer is "Yes".

Cooking - auntie's biriani. *sigh*
Giving a party - lay on the Johny Walker, and then stand back.
Gossip - when the aunties get together, no-one is safe from rumours.
Cricket - enthusiasm, if not ability *ducks*

They are also extremely good in mathematics. In addition I think India will go far in advertising; they have a great eye for visual media.

Me?

I'd rather not say anything more on the grounds that I might incriminate myself.

ok, ok...

Put my foot in it. This entire thread is about light-hearted generalisations, so my comment was out of place and has been deleted.

Now here's one from me... the Indian education system is often criticised for being based on rote learning rather than encouraging thinking.

Side effect of this? The best memories I know are Indian memories.

Thats sounds true, but sometimes I am surprised, how can someone do this with Mathematics OR physics OR Programming logic for instance...

and the irony is that these are few of the fields that Indians are believed to be good..

There are two qualities that I found unique to Indian people:

1. Patience
2. Excellence for mathematics

I think every race, every culture has a unique quality. Although the basic qualities in all human beings are the same (we are all born from woman; we must all eat to survive, we all need the 5 elements to sustain ourselves; we all feel pain, pleasure, love, hatred), we also have unique traits depending on our gene pool. When each heightened quality is utilized from each race, I believe we could have the most perfect knowledge in the material world.

I DO believe one can "generalize" about certain aspects of races. And what's wrong with it?

I have never come across a people, like Indian people, where you can basically pick anyone at random and he/she will display above average mathematical abilities to excellent math abilities. Try this test in, say, UK, and you'd get my point!
Of course there are samples of excellence in these qualities found everywhere in the world, but I'm referring to a higher percentage of the overall average population compared to other nations I have noticed with in my travels.

Mind you, though, the Indian contribution to call centers and customers services is in my view, a disaster and not much liked by most... in a survery in the US and UK, 98% wanted a ban on Indian customer support (no offence intended; just being sincere).
Would they rather focus to outsource services from India where the people's skills and qualities excell, they would find a far greater satisfaction level for services (like, ex. outsource accounting services to India). Problem is, I feel, that in the west we are not used to be freely allowed to evaluate and accept that races have unique qualities because of our demand to show "political correctness" where we are all suppose to be exactly like identical copies of each other, instead of accepting that we are different and to learn to appreciate those unique differences.

Well, that's my two cents on the topic!

I hope I have not offended anyone and that we can respect free speech. If I have, just ask and I'll remove my post.
