What bottoms are you comfortable in the monsoons? 
Not denim jeans. I can tell you, even in Rajasthan where the Monsoon is not coming down very strong, the humidity is too much.
Salwar are a good option. Linen pants are a good option. Baby powder is another good option

for them monsoons - anything that is light/sheer cotton - pants / salwar.
something / anything that will dry overnight under the ceiling fan.
avoid skirts - as its difficult to walk in one when wet in the rain.
