| Just checked the age bands to make sure I haven't jumped up a group!!! Still group 4. That's what I am going to say in future if asked about my age ... "I'm in group 4"!! |

| Indiawise, when you are 40-ish, the girls are shy and look at you with the 'come on, you might get lucky' signals. All of a sudden they change, they become very friendly on first contact. You think you are at last being appreciated but its not all good news. They have stopped seeing you as a 'potential partner' and see you as 'someone like my dad' therefore safe to be friendly with. It took me a while to adjust to my new persona but when you walk down the street with an 18 year old, the young blokes are never sure if she is your daughter or you have some magic formula they haven't figured out yet! Mind you, the 18yo has no doubts at all about where you belong.... Remember that cute Isreali girl at your place last year? (or was it the year before?) |
