How long will Salman Rushdie's marriage to Padma Lakshmi last?

Fifty sixty year old Salman Rushdie, author of the great 'Midnight's Children' and the controversial, yet boring, 'The Satanic Verses', is set to marry for the fourth time to model/actress/cooking show personality thirty two year Padma Lakshmi in New York.

The betting pool is now on to see how long this one will last for Rushdie, is the fourth time a charm?

Hey Mike how about a poll for this one? It could help offset the seriousness of the current poll.

And he had a relationship in the past for about a year or two with the writer who wrote about her trip with camels across Australia. It was very stormy, she said. I forget her name. Recently (in the past few years), she trekked with the nomads in Rajasthan and their camels but found it too hard going. At the time, her lover was a Rajasthani prince (don't know if she's still with him though).

Is Padma the one who dumped him or he dumped her (depending on who you talk to?) or is this a new one?

His friends said she didn't have enough brains for him (how bitchy is that!). She said he was too old for her (hmmmm).
