most definately upper North, lower upper Himalayas, the whole Garwhal region & hopefully someday the north-east. Btw the map seems to be taken from mapsofindia.com if I'm right.

Generally people are more relaxed in the south, less Eve-teasing, less hard sell etc. Same seems to be the case for the North East (Sikkim, Darjeeling).

can someone pleas tell me how much does it take from mumbai to goa,and what is the best place to chil out and think in goa?i come from a turistic place sow i relly had inaf of tourist expecaly the hole family packeg.

I prefer the north, because that's where I spent most of my time. Delhi, Lucknow, etc.

I prefer north, it is where I go the most and the himalayas are nice, though east has a lot to offer from beaches to mountains..I have never been there.

South for me, especially Tamil Nadu and the area around Mysore.

South India for me and prefer mysore too as it is where i used to
live.I have taken a liking to south canara too now.

All the places are beauitiful in its own way but if i had 2 pick it would be south..coz of kerala, lakshwadeep and other lesser known but beautiful places in karnataka ...

I agree...Kerala is the selling point for me..so I choose South too.
