Where Was This Photo Taken? (2)
Islamic landmark it is, but not Jama masjid in Delhi. 'fairly easy one' is itself a clue. :-p

I think I've got it. LOL. I knew I've seen that pattern before.
The base around the Taj Mahal?

Haha! I was right. It is the Taj. But I swear I didn't realise it. I just looked at mine pictures of the Taj and realised it.

Open the image in your editor (file .. open)
and make a copy : Ctrl + A , Ctrl + C , Ctrl + N , Ctrl + V .
At the Ctrl + N stage youŽll see the image size in pixels , this is probably way too big right now. After pasting the image (Ctrl + V ) in the new file.
Look for a drop down menu , probably called Image , click on the Image size , this will show the size in pixels again. Select something like 600 or 800 wide, the program will automatically alter the vertical correspondingly.
Next step is to reduce the number of colors used , check if you have a web option (save for web) , this is probably located in the File menu.
There are a number of small programs that can run this on a regular basis , including batch operation , but youŽll have to ask other Windows user for the best options on the dark side.

I've reduced the image size to 800 wide but it's still 230kb. I then tried reducing it to 600 but all the colours cocked up, so I cancelled that. I'm still not sure how to reduce the number of colours though, there doesn't seem to be a 'save for web' option. Is there another way? (I didn't think it would be this complicated!)

It sounds complicated ,but it's like everything else ,it's easy when you no how
