Haven't pinned down a name yet: the clue seems to apply better to the building Upper Right, though the Great Arrow of the Google Map falls precisely between them and perhaps applies to both. Gather from the mural work that the puzzle place is an ecology interpretation centre or some such, possibly named summat like The Ecology Centre at Upper Right.

ETA: Keep coming up with Upper Right Museum, which
contains geographical map of pachmarhi in a model form and information on animals found around the area. The museum has life sized stuffed Lion, Tiger, Bison, Crocodile etc...
But that would make it a museum, which is already forbidden.

Also see references to a Forestry Memorial or Forestry Memorial and Museum. The former is allowable but I can't get any other info than the name and am not even sure if it's in Pachmrhi.

Very well then I contradict myself,

Looks like a building in Horticulture garden? Could be some kind of information and education centre.

No GP. Not a garden. But it's a kind of information centre definitely.

Yes, you have reached the place hfot2. Only the name is to be pointed out. It' s not a museum, at least we have seen a different description on that board.

More after the puzzle is solved.

Time to quit for the day. Wonder if either of these has any bearing on the puzzle:
The forest department of M.P. was essentially born here when the soldier turned forester captain's James forsyth constructed the Bison lodge in 1862.
source

one has to register at Forest office at Bison Lodge

Can you possibly be looking for something as simple as Forest Department Office at Bison Lodge?

Yes, the puzzle place is in Bison Lodge compound. Congrats hfot2. This ('Bison Lodge') was the first building built in Pachmarhi ( in 1862) by Captain J. Forsyth of Bengal Lancers , who accidentally reached Pachmarhi in search of Tatia Tope during the Sepoy Mutiny in 1857. Captain Forsyth named the building as ' Bison Lodge ' because he spotted a herd of Bison from this place. And yes, permit for visiting places under the tiger reserve is also issued from this place .

But the puzzle place has a specific name (a common name, available on net too) which is yet to appear.

Here is the Killer clue from inside

Yes, that's it aarosh. It's indeed the ' Nature Interpretation Centre' in Bison Lodge , Pachmarhi.

Bison Lodge served as the Forest Headquarters for more than a half century & then it was converted to a museum & it had been re-designed as a Nature Interpretation Centre in 2015.

Congrats hfot2 for taking us to Bison Lodge & aarosh for posting the exact name of the place. Thanks to all .

Solved.
