Where Was This Photo Taken? (2)
Congratulations to hfot2, who gave the clue, and to PeakXV who followed through. My photo posted yesterday was correctly identified as the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh temple) in Delhi near by Connaught Place. The pic was snapped in 1986. (Courtesy of mr. theyyamdancer.)

Theyyam, If I had gone through this thread, the image would have been obvious to me as a Delhite. However, I would have not been sure, because the domes in your image are not gold plated and I have no recollection of domes without gold top. I think year when the pic is taken should be mandatory on this thread

Hence proved! I have been to Amer twice but did not get the image. Maybe because once i went on a scooter hired from friends uncle, which broke down midway. We took scooter to Amer after that instead of 'it' taking us. And the second time, well, no excuse for that other than blaming my memory.
Tilak, no it is not Dharamshala. Sorry! Keep guessing.
