I believe you have the 'Tv'setting under control!

Hey, I love drops of water frozen mid air, or water 'boiling over' in a mug in a sink, but how about taking care of the background?

The way you are going, you will be a formidable photographer soon.

Good luck!

Question S5 battery life??

Hello S5 users .. had a question regarding S5's battery life. How is the battery life of Powershot S5 IS. A friend owns one, and I found that the battery drains out after 15-20 shots.. which is strange... it could be a problem with the batterys.
What is your experience with S5?

Rechargables? or ordinary AAs?

15-20 shots for rechargables, probably even using the flash, is certainly not right. Problem with the batteries or the charger, I'd say.

Apparently there's a new[ish] battery called Eneloop (?) from Sanyo that has a very low self-discharge rate. They are supplied charged and ready to use, and will still be usable after you've left your camera on the shelf for a week.

Its the discharging when not in use that I find the worst thing about normal rechargables.
