The valley recalled: Kashmir 2
I know few people are contemplating a visit to Kashmir in these turbulent times. Here are some photos I took on my visit some years ago. The month was November; I did the obligatory few days on a houseboat on Nagin Lake, a trek to the Thajwas glacier, and then a trip up the Lidder valley to view Mt. Kolahoi.
This picture shows a shikara on Nagin Lake. Hari Parbat fort is on the hill in the background.
