Oh whoops I did just move it. With permanent redirect so people looking under Rajasthan will still see it till eternity (or till the site breaks, whichever comes first ).

I think it should automatically call for you to download it if you don't have it or not the required version, but anyway you can get it here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/. You may need to give it some permissions, or double-click any vids for them to get rolling (relieves the initial block you may have. These pics are treated as plugin elements or what's the English phrase.)

Well, you succeeded here. I was bound for Pushkar Fair once, something came inbetween. That first pic is most evocative, almost as good as being there I guess.

I waited about 30 sec [patience is something I have not yet mastered] but it doesn't show anything as downloading [usually I get a bar showing how much of what has been downloaded - it just says "Internet zone" in the bar at the bottom - as it does here and now.] I have 2 different browsers, I tried both.

Guess I'll just have to be satisfied with my own Pushkar memories until I upgrade.

Or this page, how much longer will you be able to go right up to elephants in Jaipur?

And, just to make things even more bizarre - I am able to look at these two pages and use my QuickTime. I don't see the "Zoomify" wallpaper here. Were these not done with "Zoomify" and could that be the problem?

The Zoomify ones are done using Flash, not QuickTime.
The 360VR photos are done using QuickTime, and I’m also setting them up to work with Java.

I’m using Adobe CS3 to make the Zoomify ones and it looks like you may need Flash Player 9 to view them. If you do need to update to a newer Flash Player 9 it will usually tell you.

Pushkar at Night

Pushkar Camel Fair at nighttime. Thousands of camels are at rest in the peaceful morning hours long before the sun comes up. But even at this early hour there is still some activity as people roam around picking up fresh camel droppings from behind the sleeping camels. You can also see a camel on its front knees as he tries to stick his head under the tent.
This pano is done with CS3 Zoomify and you will need the Flash Player 9 to view it.

Now heading to the Amber Fort

For that night view of the Pushkar Camel Fair I do have one more that is done with QuickTime as a large 360VR panoramic.
http://www.camelphotos.com/pushkar_360vr.html

Ok, now that we all had a chance to toured around Pushkar we will be leaving and heading out to Jaipur where we will check out the elephants at the Amber Fort. Often there are many more elephants here forming 2 rolls, but a lot of them have already done their quota of rides for the day and gone home. Most of the elephants live nearby but there are still a few that live down in the city of Jaipur, and it can take the slower ones close to 2 hours to get here in the early morning.

Slightly off topic -
mach-
Eventually I will - but it's a slow slog. I love the Mac, and love OS 9. When I switch to OS X, I have to upgrade all my hardware and switch to a new word processing program and convert all the files I use. It will be seamless when it happens, but it's not a simple task. Indeed, I'm going to get a local MacDoc to do it for me.

For now, I can not use a Flash Player newer than v7 and that's probably why I can't see the zoomify shots.

Just kidding Hfot. I'm like you -- happy with what I have, until it starts giving off sparks and starts smoking (sometimes literally!) And hey who wants to feed all those gadget-producing hawks anyway right?

Yesterday when I looked at the first image, I got the blue flashing "Zoomify" message. Later in the day I upgraded Flash to version 9, and now when I look at the image it works fine. So for anyone who just sees the blue Zoomify, try upgrading to Flash 9.
