Send a message via Yahoo to sunilg
noting technical about it.

Which Operating System are you using??

the Image editor/viewer that comes default with Microsoft Windows can easily resize the image.

Any image editor like PhotoShop or PaintShop can resize your images.

...or make things simple, use this:

http://www.download.com/IrfanView/30...ml?tag=lst-0-1

its cost and licence free to download.

Cheers,

What photo editing software do you have? Look under the IMAGE menu for something called resize or resample. Best size for IM seems to be around 800x600 pixels. With a reasonable amount of compression file size should be well under 100k. If you don't have any photo editing software and are using windows there is a program called Irfanview that will do all you want and more. The site for free download is at.. http://www.irfanview.com/

Indeed very easy to use. Thank you !!!! 2cents

I struggled with Irfanview for "batch resize". [for about 3 hrs] It kept giving the same output folder as the input folder. Then the "run" gave a warning "no overwrite" and did not resize.... I tried it again some 4 times... same error.... I realize that I am making some error somewhere.... don't know

Then I downloaded your recommendation PIXResizer....

It did the job perfectly in the first run !!

I realize that the deficiency is mine... but sofware should be easy to operate... isn't it ??

Thanks again, 2cents

Open microsoft paint. Load in photo. Hit ctrl+w. Select 50% height and width reduction. Hit ok. Save (or save-as to another filename if you want to keep the masters). Move on to next photo and repeat.
