Read gurushots, understand EXIF info; hangout at pbase and photo.net or select a subforum of your camera brand and see what others post

End of the day, you have to keep shooting everyday everywhere

What's the brand / make of the camera? Some sites have specific short-cuts and tips for specific makes.

Raktim,

Do you have any specific questions? If not, you can check out the articles/tutorials in Cambridge in Color, Luminous Landscape, and also the other sites mentioned above.

pbase (pbase.com) is a photo hosting forum, as is also Fred Miranda (fredmiranda.com). It's best to look at other folks' works on these sites, you'll learn a lot. Happy learning!

1. Take a lot of pictures.
2. Keep the ones you like.
3. Repeat

Unless your idea of good photography involves gimmicks and post-processing, this will be a better use of your time than messing about with what the experts have to say.
