Photography course in Delhi?
Hi guys,
Has anyone heard about any basic photography courses in Delhi - the kind that take a few weeks and show you the ropes. And if not in Delhi then perhaps in Northern India in general? Thanks in advance. |

photography worshops
Hi, I'm a photographer, and I have searched for photography worshops in India. There arn't that may that I came across but I did come upon a couple. go to www.nevillebulsara.com which has worshops in Ladakh, Goa, and Rajasthan. And the other one I found was at http://www.englander-workshops.com/w...shop.php?id=10. It would probably just be easier to google Joe Englander. This guy has workshops all over the world including India in places like Rajisthan, Ladakh, and Varanasi, and I think a couple of other places in India. I think his worshops are fairly high as far as cost goes and they only last 4 or 5 days. As far as just a basic course, I'm not sure of any. But the worshops that I have participated in have been very basic, mainly for people who are just starting out in photography. But I think that most photography workshops do require you to know how to operate your camera before you come.

basic photography workshop from 12 Aug
Photosensitive...is it about photography? Is it about sensitivity? Or
is it about combining the two? I guess the latter aptly describes it. Shailan Parker and Joginder Singh, professional photographers have been teaching photography informally and as visiting faculties to design schools across Delhi. The recent inundation of affordable cameras made them sit up and think...every one seems to have one, but most use it on the AUTO mode, not realizing the creative potential the cameras extend if used at MANUAL settings that the pro's use so effortlessly... Photosensitive was born to put across the magic of photography by understanding camera controls and exploiting them creatively...learning to look at light...absorbing its nuances...arranging visual elements successfully in a frame...all handled with outdoor shoots, multimedia presentations and interactive picture reviews. The photographers recommend using SLR (Single Lens Reflex) Cameras or Digital Cameras that have Manual Modes, to be able to absorb the subtleties of camera control manipulation. They are conducting another weekend workshop (saturday and sunday mornings 7.30am - 10.30am) beginning the 12 August and ending on the 3rd September. The basic photography workshop comprises of eight sessions (three hours each) over four weekends. The digital photography specialization is on 9-10 September. The instructors also moderate an online exchange after the completion of the module where participants of the workshop get to exchange pictures and interact with earlier students and even join them on weekend shoots as a continum of their newly acquired skills. Fee structure: Rupees 5000.00 for the basic photography module (eight sessions) Rupees 7000.00 for basic photography and introduction to digital photography (ten sessions - two extra sessions after completion of the basic photography module) Venue: On Location for outdoor shoots, South Delhi (Vasant Vihar) for presentations and picture reviews (details to be announced) Contact: photosensit...@gmail.com Check out your instructors: Shailan Parker 9811119331 www.shailanparker.com Joginder Singh 9810091751 www.jogisingh.com spread the word around. |
