Not "second hand" but "seconds", although I think you still have some confusion with "bankrupt stocks", "over stocks" etc.

The latter is stock bought from dead and ailing companies and sold on at cheap rate, Seconds have failed quality control for some reason that is often quite impossible to find.

Then there's "Special Purchase" --- which you often find in the Sales in UK. It means that, rather than being regular stock reduced, they bought it especially to sell cheap.

I would guess that "Export Rejects" probably comes under the "Seconds" category. Could be very good bargains, but, buyer beware; they aren't going to be in a hurry to tell you what's wrong!

Bought a very nice leather purse for Mrs N from a stall where I noticed that the stock looked expensive, but every piece had at least one small fault in the leather --- export rejects no doubt.

Love the thought of the Flour Mat

Life is a shopping trip

Doesn't "export rejected" (or "rejects"?) in India mean what we would call second hand over here though (except it hasn't been used yet)?
We call them "seconds" here, as in "second quality" or imperfect. Those are great prices if the quality isn't too bad!
