Nikon D90 Vs Sony Alpha Series
Hi All,
I know there are lot of threads on SLR but I would like to know personel expierence and Choice for Nikon D90 vs Sony Alpha Series. Until today, I have make up my mind to buy Nikon D90 with 18-105mm Lens which cost me around 68000 RS but one of my friend refer me to go with Sonly Alpha series (Alpha A380 SLR Digital Camera Kit with 18-55mm[inbuild] and 55-200mm Lens) which cost me around 55000 RS. I would like to see comparision of both. Regards Rushi |

www.dpreview.com will have detailed reviews of both models. D90 is an excellent camera, highly recommend it.

Both are fine. I have used Alpha100 which is an older generation camera.

Its no different from undies.
When you see the final result - you don't know what brand's been used. And everyone has their favorite/preference etc etc FWIW, I LOVE the nikon ergonomics but budget sent me to canon (got 500D+twin lens in 42 incl exchange rate %) If you CAN afford nikon - go for it by all means. Just that in delhi, u can get nikon d300 body for about 65k (?) at Pritam studio chandni chowk (gray). Its so much ahead of D90 its not funny!

If you can get the D300, then do. But in reality there is not a great difference between these cameras.
