Nikon 4200 or Sony Cyber-shot S40?

Do any of you use the Nikon or Sony camera? Which one do you think I should get? Atm I prefer the Sony but the memory cards put me off. Thanks, Carl.

I just got the new Nikon COOLPIX 7600 for my trip.

it's 7.1 pxl and from some reason cost only $269 - which is a good price I think. took some test pictures and they look great . the camera is really tiny, takes only 2 AA batteries and very user friendly. also got 1G memory card from ebay for $60, although I regeret that didn't get the high speed one for a little more money (there is a pause of 6 sec. between shoots...)

Ahhh thanks for the advice.. but I decided to get a Sony. The reviews were good and it fitted nicely in my budget. I was in abit of a rush... I have to get my insurance sorted on Wednesday and I wanted to include my new camera. Only 2 weeks to go.. wooooo
