Thought it was a scaled model when I first looked at it (not that it makes any difference). Anyway - it looks Dravidian style to me, probably Tamil Nadu, & possibly one of the temples @ Sheringham?

Sorry Srirangam,
my Indian architectural encylopedia is 1876 and the British have all the place spellings, altered phonetically for their dear old tongue/ear. ....improvise a little will ya! Haven't got a clue - if it's not a model then the detailing in the stonework looks of more recent manufacture &/or slightly simplified. ![]() |

My first guess was Birla Mandir too...
I have one on my hard disk too but I'm not able to guess where your's is from. It does have an "Andhra" look to it Mine: ![]() |

Vir, you're right, it's in the USA. New-South-Welshman, not in Malibu. yes Peak, it is on the newer side and I do believe it's closely modeled after the Sri Venkateswara temple. |
