"My" India thru images
My “100” pics!!!
I wanted to thanks all IndiaMikers who took time and patience to browse my photo gallery! When I joined this Forum I really didn’t know I post so many photos but your encouragement and pleasantness gave me this hint. Anyway India is such a special country that’s really a pleasure to take the time to post a new image. It’s like going back with my mind in some of the “special” places of my mind and my heart where I had wonderful meeting. I would like that a good image can be a key, able to open the rich world of sensations that a country like India can grant to a sensitive and available mind. Anyone who travelled in India, I’m sure, already felt deeply several sensations… I just hope that “my photo key” will helps you to open some of them. Anyway I found out that for me this key it’s not enough… all the time I watch at a nice pic of other members, I feel the call of India so strong from deep inside that there’s no cure! I have to return again and again (and soon!). Thanks again! Mistral |

I use a Nikon D70 digital camera with (usually) two lenses 18-70mm and 75-300mm. Thanks for your appreciation! Last edited by Mistral : Apr 24th, 2005 at 22:19. |

My favourite from Mistral's album...This is called Rickshaw Posture in the advanced version of Yoga, for those who don't understand Rickshaw, Yoga or India for that matter.
Bloody hell...let the world roar and pass...I value my catnap. I own and control my mind.... ![]() IndiaMike albums have soul in it. Just like a personal diary from every one....but shareable with delight. A virtual India tour for the one's doesnt have (time, courage, money,...or any reasons) to visit india. Also a great place to cud the india memory for the ones already visited this place This is the link to Mistral's album |

to post my pics really at the beginnings it took me a bit of time coz I didn't know how to use photoshop. It was a chance to learn a bit to use this great program. Now really it doesn't take me away too much time, even if I try always to post nice images. Thanks a lot for your time in browsing my images... |

Wonderful photos. It wouldn't even have occurred to me to take some of them (for example, the guy napping on the rickshaw) because I used to take those things for granted when I lived in India (am Indian).
It sometimes takes another person's perspective to remind you what's special/interesting about India...all IMers' photos give me so much delight, especially the ones that are saturated with colour. When I go back, I don't get around to taking photographs, but IM has inspired me to try on my next trip...now I have to figure out which camera to buy, but I will look that up on the relevant thread! |
