Majnu Ka Tilla & McLeod Ganj Photos
I spent most of December in Majnu Ka Tilla in Delhi and then McLeod Ganj in Dharamsala photo documenting in my free time the exile Tibetan community. This was my second trip to India and I'm ever slowly getting a better understanding of the landscape. I had two cameras with me, a Canon 5D and a Canon 1D Mark2 with an assortment of lenses 15mm f2.8 fisheye and 28mm f1.8 and 85mm f1.8 and 17-35mm f2.8 and 70-200mm f2.8. I also had a 360 Precision http://www360precision.com panoramic tripod head for doing spherical panoramas. It was a lot of gear to carry that was very heavy but I was pretty much prepared to handle most shooting situations.
Thanks David First day in Majnu Ka Tilla http://poeticdream.com/gallery.php?gid=344 Majnu Ka Tilla http://poeticream.com/gallery.php?gid=345 McLeod Ganj http://poeticdream.com/gallery.php?gid=346 Majnu Ka Tilla http://poeticdream.com/gallery.php?gid=347 |

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing.
Quite a few of the pictures seem super wide/wide angle, what was your camera and lens? The 360 panos are fantastic! ![]() |

Thanks!
The super wide angle shots were with the 15mm f2.8 fisheye lens and the Canon 5D which is the lens and camera combo I used to make the 360 panoramic shots Regards David |

Wonderful pictures, loved them, particularly Mcleodganj and Dharamshala ones. The kids are sooo cute.

Thanks!
The single most appreciation I have for fullframe is being able to get a true 17mm out of my 17-35mm lens which has been important in being able to capture wide spaces. Regards David |
