Karakoram Highway

Anyone who has travelled over the Karakoram Highway from India into China, I'd be really interested to know how you did it and any pitfalls to look out for.

I take it that April/May is still too cold and snowed in to cross?

Thank you

Yes, by bus in '89, easy, great great trip to do, - but from Pakistan - not India !!!

April/May is a little early, but should be possible. Be sure to 'hang out' along the Hunza valley - don't rush it.

Interesting thread, but what's it got to do with photography?
