Thanks for that.

As you might have gathered, I was just a bit concerned about how your previous post could be read.

Thanks for the further information

Dude, I might misread this, but i get the impression that you feel that I am misleading you. Yes its one person whose posted, but some others are agreeing with him in some manner.

I am not that person who has posted in JJM, and I have nothing against JJM (who have been in this profession for decades) or the guy here in Bangalore. I have purchased from both, and will do so in future.

You asked something here, and I shared my experiences. Its upto your maturity level on how you wish to read them.....

Cheers
Ajay

May be I over-reacted in my previous post.

Since he has told you the price is with bill, and you have the rates in your local city, it should be easy for you to compare

Cheers
Ajay

p.s. this is my last post on this.

Ok so I lied. that was my second last post.

Ur welcome Nick, and I do understand (now), the importance of the choice of words esp in a public forum, which could be read out of context (by those not aware of local market conditions), and unneccesarily harm someones reputation and business.

Cheers
Ajay

Fair enuf

See, the final decision has to be taken by you only depending on your comfort levels.

Now, lets assume that something goes wrong with the camera. Your dealer will direct you to the authorised service center. This warranty is valid through out india, so my perception is that if you are getting a good price from JJM, you could go ahead. Godforbid, if something goes wrong with your camera, the authorised center in ur city cannot refuse you as long as u have a valid warranty card stamped and a bill.

Also, you could become a member at sites like JJM, shutterfreeze.com etc which are photograhy forum of indian photographers (membership is free like here), and post this question. That ways, you could get feedback and insights from other members as well. Besides, once you buy your camera and take pictures, those forums are a nice place to take feedback and learn. Thts how i learnt whatever little i know anyways.

All the best

Cheers
Ajay

Talent is the word I will use!

I like caricatures.
