IR filters used with Panasonic FZ-18

Hello friends,

recently i have become a great fan of infra-red photography after going thru some of the related websites on the net. I won a Panasonic FZ-18 and would therefore like to know which IR filters I can use with this camera.

I'd be happy to receive all feedback on these IR filters, the ones compatible to FZ-18 camera and their availability & prices in India.

Hi Anirban
You can go for 4point and 8point Star Filter which is compatible for FZ-18. I do not know the exact price. My friend told me that it costs around Rs 1500.

Thanks eeboy. are you aware of any good shops around koramangala?
also, i found that the IR filters are different from the Star filters (which u mentioned in your reply). but in any case...i can hopefully get the IR filters price list as well, from any quality shop..
