"Photographer and cultural anthropologist, Chantal Boulanger-Maloney, died earlier this year after spending over a decade travelling around India. She became an authority on the Dravidian culture of south India, spending many months in and around Hindu temples there. Oh, that is sad. I was in touch with her a few years ago by email about saris and dhotis and bought a copy of her book which details dozens of different ways of tieing them.
I'm sure she is now clothed in the greatest colours of the universe...
